How We Got The Name "TwoStick"

Micah Whitson at Old Try was looking for a minimal, affordable frame to sell with his company's letterpress prints. He reached out to us to help come up with a solution. After a few tries of our own, we landed on these top and bottom rails. Everything they needed to be, nothing that they didn't. The name then came easy: Two Stick. It was a nod to the old Lyric theater in Oxford, MS, where Micah got the inspiration to start Old Try. Students and locals would refer to the worn theater as “the two-stick” meaning you needed one stick to prop up your seat and another to beat away the rats.
